You know those people who are so afraid of something bad happening that they’re relieved when it finally happens? I just want to make their fear happen just so they’ll stop talking about it.
Stand up comedy is hard enough without having an audience that can’t express their reaction. I used to do some comedy in Scandinavia and most of the jokes didn’t translate well, our best nights where when the American sailors were in port, at least they got what we were doing. I would never play to an audience of snakes, to dangerous.
